Breast Augmentation, to improve fullness and volume, can lift your confidence and self-image.
Breast augmentation is a procedure that uses implants to fulfill a patient’s desire for fuller breasts or to restore breast volume lost after weight loss or pregnancy. Currently both saline and silicone implants are available and approved by the FDA. Implant placement, type and size are determined based on the patient’s anatomy, body type, desired increase in size, and our own surgical judgment.
Making a woman’s breasts more proportional to her overall figure can do wonders for her psyche as well as her physique. Our patients tell us that the procedure improves their self-confidence and makes them feel more like themselves again. Drs. Kevitch, Chung & Jan find that one body part can influence the entire sense of self if a woman is not happy with that part of her body.
The board-certified physicians at Kevitch, Chung & Jan believe the patient consultation is one of the most critical steps in the entire procedure. Beauty is a very personal concept, and that conversation lets us understand exactly what the patient wants. Breast augmentation can increase fullness and projection … improve the balance of your figure … and enhance your self-image and self-confidence.
Our practice sees patients from across the region, not only in the Lehigh Valley but from Phillipsburg, NJ to Reading, PA. Our physicians have hospital admitting privileges in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and Quakertown.
Breast augmentation surgery involves using breast implants or fat to increase volume. If a patient has severely drooping breasts, a breast lift may be required in conjunction with breast augmentation, which may be done at the same time, or as a separate surgery. The decision between fat transfer or silicone or saline breast implants is one that must be made on a case-by-case basis by you and your physician.
An ideal candidate for breast augmentation is physically healthy, has realistic expectations, and is bothered by the feeling that her breasts are too small. If pregnancy, weight loss or aging has caused your breasts to lose shape and volume, breast augmentation can be the answer. Also, breasts that are asymmetrical or have an elongated shape can be improved with surgery.
