6 months is too long a wait to see a dermatologist

Try to make an appointment with one of the other dermatology practices in the Lehigh Valley and you’ll be typically told you can be seen in about six months. Sounds crazy, right?

Six months — to wait and worry about that unusual-looking ‚Ä®spot on your arm ... to live with that embarrassing acne on your face ... to find out if you should be concerned about your child’s birthmark? And then when you finally have your office visit, you don’t even see a doctor for your concern. You only see a nurse or a Physician’s Assistant.

Hearing about this from our patients, we chose to add a dermatologist to our practice. Dermatologist Marie S. Wagener, D.O., joined us recently to provide both general dermatology services (like full body exams, acne treatment, general skin concerns) and cosmetic dermatology services (botox, chemical peels, and microneedling as examples).

• No ridiculously long wait times to see Dr. Wagener.

• She accepts most insurances for her general dermatology services.

• Patients always see Dr. Wagener — an American Osteopathic College of Dermatology-certified dermatologist — at their office visit.

Dr. Wagener is now currently accepting new patients at our office, convenient to Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton. To schedule an appointment with her, please contact us here at Kevitch, Chung & Jan at 610-437-2378.
