With Dr. Chung, treating patients is about the relationship

Yet another one of our satisfied patients has volunteered to share her stories with everyone on our ASA blog. Bridget S. first came to Kevitch, Chung & Jan because she was unhappy with how her droopy eyelids were making her look both tired all the time and much older than she really is. After the wonderful experience she had here with her cosmetic eyelid surgery, she eventually consulted with us again to have a tummy tuck performed to remove the excess skin she had at her belly which was causing her both medical issues and aesthetic concerns. Here is Bridget’s story …

“I went in for a consult with Dr. Chung after failing the eye exam, recalls Bridget who had cosmetic eye surgery performed at Kevitch, Chung & Jan. “He explained how the work would be done. He took some before pictures of my eyes, and showed me some photos of other patients who had the procedure done so I could see what I should look like afterward. We also talked about what to expect with the recovery.”

“Talking with Dr. Chung really put me at ease. He was concerned with what I wanted to achieve. I felt that he was really listening to me. With him, treating patients is definitely not transactional. It’s about a relationship and the depth of the relationship.”

“The other thing I liked is that they don’t upsell. They’re not like that at all. They’re not like, ‘Well, while you’re at it, you should fix this, too, and this and this.’ They are very focused … focused on you and what YOU specifically want to achieve.”

“I had first met Dr. Chung at the open house in November. Following that I had this consult and now I was ready. In January I was going to have my (droopy) eyes taken care of. I was a little nervous … but more excited!”

Bridget’s story will continue in upcoming blog posts.
